Stewards couldn\'t get more difficult to understand, this from DRF:

Velazquez, who was fined $1,500 by the stewards for allowing Vino Rosso to come in and bump with Enticed in the Wood, said his colt “has a ton of talent, he just needs to put it all together.”

So...you get a pretty healthy fine (for a JKY), but no need to change the result?
Saw the race, didn\'t see much of a bump despite the lengthy inquiry...but can you fine a guy if it didn\'t matter?

Fairmount1: In addition to some comments that could lower Justify\'s odds on Derby Day if he keeps saying them enough to the media, Baffert has some hilarious comments about how he tried to call Pletcher during the inquiry.  This was on Byk\'s show this morning.

APny: Such a shortsighted post Shanahan.  The Stewards didn’t make a change because it didn’t affect the outcome of the race.  Vino Rosso was the best horse on that day. Bettors who bet him (I did not) should not have been penalized. That doesn’t mean careless riding should go without penalty.
