So the insane pace they set was not all that surprising.

I realize you expected Kamikaze pace, but these situations still surprise me. I realize there is no limit to stupid, I see it all around me daily. Promises Fulfilled ran 9th last and won $10K Strike Power 8th and won the same.

Why not line up the Jockeys and trainers opposite and facing and just piss on each other.

I appreciate speed handicapping concepts but in this case its too much of a stretch to blame the horses. So the uniformed will read the next iteration of the sheets for the two horses and conclude bounce.

Yea human induced bounce,

Sound analysis, next time post it before the race is run. You may have convinced a stubborn rock head like myself to include Audible in my 🌈 Play......

I was alive to 2 tickets with CB for 24K & one to Hofburg for 44K
None to Audible for 9K.

Catholic Boy is officially a piece of poop. He trained like a million bucks, he looked like a million bucks on the track, had the dream set up and trip.
He had ABSOLUTELY no run at all. The winner was a monster, Hofburg ran very well and this one has a future.....

3 dances left in the next 2 weeks then it will be WHO let the dogs out around here. Wonders if Chuckles will be appearing anywhere as the Easter Bunny today?

Good luck,

Excuse the redboard of a torn up ticket, but I was alive to SP for reasons confirmed by the ROTW analysis, and to CB for many of the reasons Frank articulated.  I did not use a Pletcher-trained 3-year old racing in Florida\'s premiere stake race, even though he was favored on the morning line and had sufficient number power, though perhaps lacking the most attractive pattern.  It was as if I was watching the same movie for the fourteenth time, and expecting a different ending.  Sometimes, a Cigar is just a Cigar.

If it makes you feel any better, I needed the Mott horse to run second to nail the tri.

$20 tris 3-4-all, 8-4-all,   $60 8-3-4, 3-8-4.

Why no 8-all-4? Or 3-all-4??.......Because I suck at betting.

Btw: The sprint in Audible\'s pedigree started to show inside the 1/16th pole.

Good Luck,

Frank,
We should have combined tickets. I got knocked out in leg one but was solid the rest of the way. I respect you as a handicapper so I’m curious how you came up with the 3 in leg one? If I had an unlimited supply of money he wouldn’t have made my top 7 in that race. I was 6789 on my ticket. The only justification I could come up with in hindsight was that he had an Ortiz on his back. Hopefully next weekend will be more profitable!

Patrick,

I used 7 horses, was stuck on 6 as per pp the 3 was difficult at best to use. The jockey change to Jose was the ONLY reason and not a bad one in light of the paint  scraping rail ride to get the money. That and the potential for a chalkish sequence made me expand the first 2 legs as the best price probilities.

This was my play & conversation from another string I’m involved in and by posting it I risk a deserving bitch slap by mjellish as per a couple of our conversions the set up favored 3 horses in the FL Derby my 2 and the winner.......
Also in texting someone else this play I was not comfortable being thin in the last leg. I knew and with other opinions it would not have been expensive at all to spread out some more. Particularly I was positive on both Pletcher layoff horses Outplay & Hi Happy.

I liked CB way too much and guess I should feel better that he bled?

Rainbow 🌈 Time:

1,2,3,5,6,7,8 / 3,7,8,9,10,11 / 2 / 2,3,4,5 / 2,3,6,7,8 / 6,7  =$336

1,2,6 / 3,7,8,9 / 2 / 2,3,4,5 / 3,7,8 / 6,7                             =$57.60

1,2,3,5,6,7,8 / 3,7,8,9,10,11 / 2/ 2,3,4,5 / 2,3,6,7,8 / 6      =$168

Playing this more like a pick 4 backing my opinions and looking for multiple tickets rather than spreading. It’s not in my nature to spread out and I hate to get anything less than a minimum of 5/1 on horizontal plays. In NY we don’t bet Delicatessen’s to win pickles but we will flip that around all day long 😎
