Justify went from 10-1  to 8-1 in the futures in 5 mins after his victory. seems like a bad bet to me( altho he looked impressive)

It\'s a terrible bet, but watching that race I said to myself,  \"we\'re going to need a bigger boat\".

Broke a half step slow again today.  Hasn\'t cost him yet, but could in the future.    Interesting that Smith jumped aboard.  Is Van Dyke serving days?

It was a China Horse Club decision to go with Mike Smith.

Wow-- 6-1 on a colt with 2 starts and no points.

Talented for sure, but I\'ll go with the 60-1 on Noble Indy.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Will have to see if Baffert has another Bodemeister in him to get this one to the Derby in a hurry and to run credibly.  They are going to be up against it.  Seems like more of a Preakness horse to me.

I only dabble in this future pool, and only just.  Put a bit on Indy as well, along with Gold Town, and Strike Power. Was thinking they each had a shot at wining their last prep, at which point their odds will come way down.  GT looks like he only has to beat one horse shipping in.  Noble Indy looked pretty good in traffic and galloped out well, and hoping Strike improves in his second effort around two turns, while the favorites regress.

Posts 1 & 2 were winning at a near 40 percent clip in two turn dirt races going into Risen Star day, still holding a near 35 percent rate. 4 two turn dirt races that day, zero wins, two placings, one place horse was the favorite I believe. Both Noble Indy and High North were on the rail in the stretch, not sure if the rail was labeled as dead, but NI sure looked to lose momentum from the gravitation toward the rail.
