TIME TO FLIRT came away in good order, went around the first turn in the three path, contested the pace on the outside,
dropped off the pace midway down the backstretch, raced in the three path on the far turn, was asked outside the five-sixteenths,
gained in the four path into the stretch, made an outside bid at the three-sixteenths, dueled with C ISLANDSURPRISE into
the final sixteenth, had the rider of that foe misjudge the wire at that point and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. C
ISLANDSURPRISE went to the front, raced in the two path on the first turn, contested the pace on the inside of a rival, moved
clearmidway down the backstretch, controlled the action in the two path on the farturn, was asked in the three path into the
stretch then came under the whip, dueled with the winner into the final sixteenth, saw the rider misjudge the wire and ease up at
that point, had the jockey realize his mistake five strides before the wire and was put back to urging but just missed
