Last year on this day trainer McGaughey won the the daily double for clients Janney & Phipps. Suggesting, to those with over active imaginations, that he might point to this weekend.

This year he has his customary Janney & Phipps entries along with a sleeper from the Allen Stable.

One of the group is considered contentious on the morning line. The other two almost certain to be overlooked. One a firster (not Shug\'s specialty) and the other hidden behind Chad Browns two female turf stars.

Of course he\'s not the only trainer/owner who wants to shine in this weekends spotlight. TAP in the Tremont shows how he has cornered the market.

Still searching for a primo bet today, I suppose the Bond 1st time starter to run well in the 2nd race a candidate for same?

Good Luck All

Helluva call.

But you neglected to tie this in with TG figures.  Shame on you.

And Shug wins the seventh if not blocked badly til too late.

As I said, Tavasco, helluva call.

Patience,

Last year, at this time, I was posting about golf.
