All I can say is thorograph is the best tool in the game but there is also the eye test. His Florida derby win was visually impressive and to me the only derby winning move I saw in all preps. Unfortunately I had a small old derby double and woodford derby double but 9-2 was just not enough value. I suck

Not an inexpensive ticket at that. The 1 was pickable but Battle of Midway? That\'s the ALL button and that begins to add up.

PJ might be just a miler and a hanger as well.

The 9s in this case weren\'t reliable. He\'d never beeen tested until the Florida Derby. That was a number indicative of his true ability.

Furious Pete

I agree. (not on the suck part, on the TG and eye test part).

I\'m not really surprised by the order of finish. Of course I used another group of horses.

1. Most had to consider the winner c/b a beast. Even if they thought it more likely he would go back.

2. Lookin At Lee\'s race @ OP was there for everyone to see. Post Position #1 scares many away. He had the right style for that starting position and didn\'t get stopped which is some good fortune.

3. The notion that all the West Coast colts were slow was imaginative, say slow developing

4. Much ado about Pletcher\'s Derby record, nary a mention that he kept getting beat by Baffert & O\'neil. Gee no Baffert, O\'Neil was ??

5. The Wood\'s continual flop\'s might be more than just bad luck.

6. State Of Honor did his part and then dropped from 1st to 14th in 1/4 of a mile beating only the bucking bronco. I hope he is alright.

My love affair with Hence is Kaput he ran around trailing the field and then got stuck behind fast & accurate once he decided to run. I was so wrong about his tactical speed.

I played tri\'s didn\'t really expect to win, no Johnnie & Tara, overall I enjoyed the show.

That was savage mode Sek. Thx for all ur strong analysis past few weeks. Helped me get a piece. Not a lot but a piece. Now everyone will try & beat this horse at Pimlico & Elmont. Not me.
