Three Derby Questions

1- Will there be a Danzing Candy in this year\'s Derby?  So far I don\'t see one and it may make for a really interesting pace scenario and bunched up horses that can put it on a silver platter for a slow but ground saving long shot. Girvin?

2- We\'ve had no significant slop in prep races, if it rains all bets are off without a clear shovel footed Exaggerator in this group. Any observations?

3- Just out of curiosity, how would this year\'s field do against the 2016 crop?  Gun Runner has been progressing nicely but pretty much all else have gone AWOL without the likes of notable injuries or mishaps of 2017 as an excuse.

In years past, Girvin\'s paired number might be enticing, but he\'s got to move forward a lot to make him a player to win.
