Trainer preparations for Belmont

1) Did Exaggerator really need a 5f work on Tuesday before a 1 1/2 mile race after 2 grueling efforts?
2)  All top 4 finishers had either raced or worked over Big Sandy prior to the race.  Shouldn\'t Von Hemel given Suddenbreakingnews a work?  He didn\'t seem to like the track as he didnt even pick up his feet.  But would a work have helped?
