After three poor starts to begin his career, (esp watch his first race to see the potential disaster trip he has to avoid in the Derby), Sise believed his problems were behind him with the gate and the break after his San Felipe win with no special work with him just letting the horse figure it out.  Personally, I think he does not have a lightning quick first step and he is just poor to break sharp with his first step.  Also, in the SA Derby, he was acting a little coocoo in the gate before the break as the final horse on the outside was loading.  He actually broke with a very tiny hop that day then was sent on his way to the front.

He was a little \"coocoo\" in the San Felipe also.  His head was jerking every which way before the break.  He is the #2 horse, and does not break as well as the #1 or #3.  When it comes to breaks - I would say he is 0 for 5.
