Ask the Experts / Re: Friday selections

My only selection for today is Marketing Mix #9 in race 8. A couple of things here - she\'s fast enough, she\'s 8 for 15 lifetime (proven winner), won her tightener/prep over this firm turf back on Sept 29th and she\'s always carefully spotted by Proctor. Go-Go up enhances her off the pace run.

If she doesn\'t win she at least runs second. It\'s the only horse I\'m playing all day

In all fairness, the \"Most likely winner\" ran as expected and missed by less than a length.  BYC  looked totally outmatched on TG and with Jones\' record @ CD you couldn\'t have played the winner with any confidence. That said, Mike Welsh had been gushing over the winner all week on her morning activity. I did not play her.

If the track plays like this tomorrow, I think Gem is in the garden spot with his draw and will play the Derby accordingly. I hope the lump on JJ\'s cheek doesn\'t adversely affect his aerodynamics:-)

Good luck to all tomorrow

The rain has been coming down since 10am. Gonna be a very sloppy field in the second half

Hi guys. Haven\'t played a horse in over a year but I stopped by to see if there was a little pigskin scuttlebutt. Been a Niner fan since grandma lived next door to John Brodie in 1970s Palo Alto. I now reside 2 miles from Candlestick. Harbaugh has returned the glory in a big way for the beloved red and gold. The most amazing coaching job I\'ve ever seen. From a handicapping standpoint, the Niners just ran a -7 to defeat the toughest team in the playoffs - the Saints. I believe they can pair or slightly bounce to a -5 to beat the scary G Men.

Two GREAT NFL franchises re-kindling a dynamic revilary. Both teams are peaking. EPIC matchup coming this Sunday.

BTW: Montana said the other day on Bay Area radio he still hurts from Leonard Marshall\'s blindside wallop in the 1990 championship game...

Getcha popcorn ready!

Miff. Hopefully the \"one more race\" is the Arc. You crack me up. You are the king of the chit disturbers!

Just watched the replay. Man was he carrying flesh. Looked like Schwarzenegger in his prime! I was less than impressed with Frankel at Royal Ascot. I\'m thinking he reacted and still won that day. Different animal today.

Congrats to TG on giving out a nice 8-1 winner yesterday. Didn\'t get to play but that had to feel good

Sure. I\'ll explain. The 1-5 paths were really the spot to be today at Pimlico. This was apparent by the 4th race on the card. Shack was also honest speed and had to be played on wagers. Did I think he would go forward again off the 3 off two weeks rest? No I did not but I played him as a saver because Roman\'s raved about the horse\'s condition post Derby and I knew he\'d be no wider than the 4-5 path. The way speed was holding I had to use him on a saver ticket. I\'m guessing he ran a 0 or a 1 on TG which will make for a very strange sheet.

I only played exacta\'s today.

FYI - The rail is a nice spot to be today at Ol\' Hilltop. Adjust accordingly. Bonde\'s runner in the 6th was a short horse. Something to consider.

Dunno about the rail at Pimlico but Belmont the past couple days has been extra golden. Cha ching!

Yeah but your post came across as condescending - telling someone how much they should bet and how they should be greatful for a short price. He knows what he\'s getting if he\'s eating chaulk.
#13
Hey Jellish. Keep your unsolicited opinions to yourself. You havent hit since Big Brown which we all hit
#14
All I really see at the wire Saturday in the Preakness is chaulk. Sorry but Jeff Bonde isn\'t winning a Spring Classic. Period. You can tell him I said that!

No more \"paralysis by over analysis\" for me this time around.

My tickets are simply straight forward exacta plays:

AK ON TOP! Underneath is MMM, Mr Commons, Astrology, Shack, Dance City.

-Signed, the chaulk eating weasel.
P.S....Motion and Sherrifs are hands down the best horseman here. Not even close
