I don\'t post much on here because I usually don\'t have much to add. I enjoy reading most of your posts. CTC however, your posts are getting old and boring very fast. Knock it off with this ghostsprinter, ghostdodger nonsense. What has the horse done wrong in the past 2 years?

Did you want Frankel to ask the racing sec for more weight in the Met?

Why are you so bitter?

You keep saying Frankel is a cry baby but I only hear you crying about GZ.

Just my two cents and I refuse to clutter this board up nonsense, with this one exception.

Ask the Experts / Re: Bellamy Road

Bellamy Road\'s 1st career start 8/3 at Delaware Park he was 4th 2.5 lengths behind after the opening quarter mile, he took over pretty quickly and won easily. Obviously the competition wasn\'t there and maybe he had a bad start which placed him 4th early. But he did not have the lead that day and still won easy. I\'m not 100% sure he can\'t rate off of SC in the Derby if he has to.

Ask the Experts / Re: LAST POST ON STU's RIDE
June 07, 2004, 08:43:45 AM
I think Elliot\'s ride is the biggest single reason the horse lost. That being said, I do not think its fair to say that Jerry Baily would have won if he was riding him or any other big name jockey. How about Kent Desormeaux on Real Quiet?

Ask the Experts / Re: Figure for the Belmont
June 06, 2004, 03:12:07 PM
Since we are guess....I would guess that the Beyer speed figure will be 100-105. Just a guess, but I think the number will be lower than we might think.

Thanks JB for taking the time to answer my question, sorry if I asked at a bad time, I was just curious and new to this site as I said.

Guys, I\'m a meteorologist who works on the east coast, whenever you need weather forecasts email me, I\'ll be happy to help. Newest data this morning is trending to a more signficant rain event for the Middle Atlantic Friday night and Saturday. Current projections put New York City right on the edge of the heavy rain but the trend is definetly for more rain Saturday. (Don\'t believe the weather channel they are posting sunny for Saturday) At this point I\'m thinking a sloppy track is about a 65%.

I\'m not sure a sloppy track actually helps SJ, but I don\'t think it will hurt him either. Just because he did well over the Arkansas mud (was it really muddy? looked good to me) and the Churchill slop doesn\'t mean he\'ll like the quirky slop of Belmont. Any opinions?

Hi guys I just recently found this web site, but I\'m very interested in the figures that JB and company create.
While I play the higher class races occasionally (once or twice a week) my main focus is on the cheaper tracks like Penn National and Charlestown. (Been following Penn since 94\' and Charlestown since 00\')

The typical reaction to me telling people that those are the tracks that I make most of my profits at is \"Why would you play those cheap horses!\".. I think there are two reasons I choose those tracks, 1. because they are at night and I can watch and wager on every single race while only giving up some sleep 2. I\'ve followed those 2 tracks so closely that I have an excellent feel for the class of the tracks and the trainer patterns which is huge.

Any way, the point of this post is to ask JB, do you make figures for those tracks and are they as accurate as figures made for higher level tracks.

Ask the Experts / Re: Beyer DRF Chat

LOL....I asked him about this on the chat but he didn\'t respond to my question directly. I have a feeling a few people questioned his figures. At least he admitted he was \"probably\" wrong.

Smarty Jones doesn\'t have a Touch Gold or Free House chasing him and Smarty wasn\'t life or death to hold on in the Preakness like Silver Charm.
