Dale Romans for Senate! I don’t know how much he’s after CAW but it’s interesting news.

Some story.

Interesting how it ties to prop and in game bets, which are so popular after being enabled by all the latest technology. There are so many more chances to do this and at the same time it\'s probably hard to detect with so much volume.

Carol Cedeno took a nasty spill at the Meadowlands last night when she was tossed off Micro Brewsky in the stretch in the 4th race.  I haven\'t seen any news, I hope she\'s okay, if anyone hears anything please post.

The Ball Four story had a good ending, I worked with Michael for awhile.

\"On June 21, 1998, (Father\'s Day) Bouton\'s oldest son Michael wrote an open letter to the Yankees, which was published in The New York Times, in which Michael described the agony of his father following the August 1997 death of Michael\'s sister Laurie at age 31, with Michael wishing that the Yankees would invite Bouton to their Old Timers Game on July 25 (he noted Yogi Berra\'s decision to not participate in the game as long as George Steinbrenner was owner, but he cited it as just as petty for Berra to spite Steinbrenner as it is for Steinbrenner to spite Bouton). Not long after, the Yankees elected to invite him to the Old Timers Game. On July 25, 1998, Bouton, sporting his familiar number 56, received a standing ovation when he took the mound at Yankee Stadium.

Thanks, no 7.

Widest on both turns.  Another jock, another 100 yards...

\"Also the 8 comes of the layoff runs a new top at first out as a 4 year old always like that angle.\"

Agreed.  Same for the 12 at 30-1.

That is one race that stuck out.  Hopefully the M/L stands up.  Two others I like are the Knicks Go and the Derby City Distaff.  I think Liberal Arts and Ways and Means are overbet.  Good luck!

Interesting thread.  A few comments.

I\'ve been to Gulfstream a few times over the past two years.  In a word, awful.  A zombie shopping mall and a \"racino\" with electronic games and slots.  I walked out onto the track, they have speakers facing INTO the crowd playing music.  I like peace at the track, not a radio blasting in my face?  The song?  I walk in and blasting in my face is \"Iron Man\" by Black Sabbath.  I couldn\'t make it up if I tried.  Now I\'m good with Black Sabbath but not what I\'m looking for at this particular time?  And I mean LOUD.  So clearly the people running the place have no idea what they\'re doing.  At all.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn that overlooked Calder back in the day?  Nothing good is ever going to happen there.  Hialeah is beautiful, what a waste.  So you\'re left with Gulfstream Mall.  Yuck.

As for the land bonanza, I\'m no expert but I don\'t get it.  As landscape goes it\'s absolutely nowhere, and who\'s dying to spend lots of money to live in a condo THERE?  Really?  The only way I\'d be interested in a condo there is if they keep the track, and even then I\'d need a soundproof spacesuit to go there and enjoy a day.

I\'m just hearing this, I worked with Alan for many years.

Alan and the late Greg Johnson both had an unfailing work ethic and put in incredible time and effort in the early days to make ThoroGraph what it is today.

RIP Alan.

I think Integration is vulnerable here.  A mile and a half is a new game?  May be firm tomorrow and likes it soft?  I can see him winning but at 8/5 looking elsewhere. Good luck!
