I believe he is trying to get info / numbers on the other horses that are nominated for the stake. Guessing he is trying to either feel confident in entering or go to plan B. Thanks for the link anyhow.

I would guess its not NYRA\'s issue. So 100 tables w 4-6 pple all holding umbrellas up as to stay and get you monies worth out of them is what you\'ll have. lol
Its shocking that this new idea will at some point backfire. The first drunk table spewing venom and having fun with another family sitting within a few feet. Brilliant!

I walked the Spa grounds the other day.....The new people paddock right next to the horse paddock is pretty amusing. If they think 100 tables are fitting inside this area they are either nuts or plan on having each table close enough to be able to share whatever your neighbor is eating/drinking. Plus if your table is near the fence you are praying that everyone will not crowd around to get a closer look at a horse. This will no doubt be a problem. One door in/out and forget allowing a friend to stop by and say hello. Security will be sitting there. Only thing that could help is it will most likely be a college kid so he/she really could care less. If anyone would like to see pics please DM me.

Wishing Well one of the best places to eat when vising Saratoga. Hands down. I spent Fiday night at Capriccio\'s near Congress Park. Italian, old school foods and taste. 12 tables inside, bar as well. 4 star service. pricing on the upside. Such a great meal first time there.

I did not see it but it may not have been in place yet. The inside is all torn up(sports bar area). What better place to cram something not needed than in an area many people went to avoid the dou++ebags. Im stopping up Friday morning and I will try to remmeber to take a look

The new building is huge and sort of takes over the entire area. What the place really need is to be painted. Walked thru area last week and is grimy and filthy. Oh yes and it wouldnt surprise me if they expanded it down the road a few years. If they are allowed to remove the owner/jock parking area and set up new picnic tables up next to Union Ave then the idiots will have a pass to keep adding things that do not make them money.

Does anything that NYRA does surprise you at this point. Rumor has it the Big Red Spring will be replaced by a vending maching holding bottles of Big Red Spring water, not included w your guest fee

For starters, I am grateful but this is complete BS. Im complaining about another NYRA nitwit not thinking this through....and certainly nothing more. They are not in touch w anyone for that matter...I do not worry about selling tix either. If I go then I use them. If not I (try) give them away to family/friends and/or last option is C-List at face.

If I pay for 20 days of seating in the clubhouse for my family of three that comes out to be $960 ($16 per seat) and if I am now having to pay for us to get into the track tack on an additional $480 ($8 x 3 x 20days) for those 20 days of racing. Yes, I can buy a season pass but that is not the point. I have been paying for season tickets for years. I was told that in order for me to re-sell my seats I will need to do that through the new NYRA site. (and not out front of gate) Since everything has a barcode and scanned does this mean security will be looking out for someone with a differnt name on the ticket face sitting in my seat????....The other issue NYRA has on their hands if you have not heard is with the turf terrace and dining. Left out in the cold are the people that have used/purchased tables for 20+ years. New policy that many of the old guest did not hear about.

So from what I am understanding if you purchase reserved seating you will now be paying thru Ticketmaster and the admission pricing will be included. I called NYRA yesterday and asked as an owner, why I would have to now pay to get in. Response was \"we did think about that issue (then went off course), and said but Ticketmaster would be best, per our CEO as to make it easier on everyone to get into THE PARK. She said \"our CEO\" twice during our 10 mins. Still no explanation and was promised a phone call soon. Skirted the only question I asked her re owners paying to get in...She did tell me that she once worked on a horse farm and understands the expense. If you are shaking your head imagine the pounding headache I had once off the phone. If anyone has an idea or if this makes any sense please speak up. 134 days the the Park opens, wth.
