 I heard that at las vagas there was a tournament between all the handicappers in the country and TG won and the tourney reps only took the last 3 numbers of each horse added them up and got a figure,with 30 percent winners is this true?

Refering to a past post on the subject of shoes on horses what kind of shoe or apparatus is the bends?  Also what other shoes besides mud caulks are there and how are they useful to the horse?
