Any idea where you can find the Equibase PPs for Luxor Cafe?
I ready the article and it did not mention it.

My memory is not what it should be anymore but I believe back in 1883
Leonatus won beating six other horses at 1 mile 1/2 in the Kentucky Derby. Darn me I just couldn\'t bet him with only two races lifetime.

Prehaps they did not show it because of the jockey who fell from their horse in the stretch run. Tracks usually don\'t show these accidents.

No broken bones for Kylee Jordan who was unseated in Race 5 Sunday
after her mount clipped heels in upper stretch. She was transported by ambulance to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs with a dislocated shoulder (about to be put back into place)

I think that he will get a \"0\". Moving him back a little from the negative 1/2 he got in the Southwest.

Ask the Experts / Re: Are Racetracks Next??
March 12, 2020, 07:48:58 PM
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Oaklawn Park will not allow spectators ontrack this weekend in the wake of the international coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the track announced Thursday night. The policy will be in place for at least Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The races, which include three stakes Saturday, will go on as scheduled.

Oaklawn joins a growing list of racetracks suspending ontrack spectators. Officials said in the press release they will be working closely with government officials to determine when the racing side of operations can be reopened to the public. Owners will be able to watch their horses from the track’s sportsbook, but not the grandstand

Ask the Experts / New Belmont Horse?
May 26, 2018, 03:24:18 PM
Irish trainer Dermot Weld said Bandua is “more likely than not” to run in the Belmont Stakes. Bandua is a Kentucky-bred son of The Factor owned by Calumet Farm. He has won both of his races, both at 1 1/4 miles on turf. “He’s a big horse, nearly 17 hands,” Weld said. “I see no reason why he wouldn’t go a mile and a half. He’s a very relaxed individual.”   Weld said he wants to confirm transportation arrangements and a jockey assignment before fully committing to run. Weld won the 1990 Belmont with Go and Go. Weld also ran in the race in 1991 with Smooth Performance (8th) and in 1995 with Off’n’Away (6th).

With only two lifetime races I think it\'s asking a lot of horse to go 1 1/2 miles against top quality competition.

His sheet reminds me of Paddy O\'Prado in 2010 and Proud Citizen in 2002.

Ask the Experts / Instilled Regard
April 23, 2018, 01:28:03 PM
Is there a reason I don\'t know about why Instilled Regard was not included
in the Derby/Oaks Special. According to the DRF Gronsowski is iffy to ship and
Instilled Regard will draw in as the first AE horse now.

Oaklawn is my home track and I\'ve played it since 1978. Jockeys often make what is called a sling shot move where they swing wide coming out of the last turn and make a late run down the middle of the track. Whitmore\'s late move yesterday is an example of this. The turns are steeply banked and it appears to the naked eye that these horses are running down hill.I\'ve never thought that the final 1/8 was downhill.

AP had one work between the Arkansas Derby and the Kentucky Derby.
He went a bullet 5F at Churchill in 58.40 six days before the race.
It was the WOW workout of all works before the Derby.

Hernandez plans to have a division in Iowa with the meet closing Tuesday at his base of Sunland Park. Hernandez said plans for the horse\'s next start are to be determined. Conquest Mo Money is not nominated to the Triple Crown.

I read yesterday that with Hernandez selecting to ride McCraken that Mike Smith will ride the Louisiana Derby winner Girvin in the Kentucky Derby.

First Pletcher horse to drop out of the Derby chase is One Liner.
Pletcher says the horse was just not working like he should and will get a freshening. I think that the negative number in his last race might have had something to do with it.Too fast too soon.
