Re: Turf Sprints being bad for the game, I am going to guess that since many of these get full-ish fields, trainers must like them. And my guess is the handle on these is pretty good since they are fuller fields and the races seem wide open. However, I will quote probably my favorite line from the seminar (this was not from the BC Turf Sprint race) that I hope will always stick with me - \"There are those that describe wide open races as good betting races - We are not among them\"

Thank you for doing the BC seminar this year and every year and great job on all races. One minor issue, when I listen/watch the Classic, the audible Bottom Line comments are for the BC Turf race, not the Classic. It is correct on the written comments on the slide and on the handout. Like I said minor issue but just wanted you to be aware. Thank you.

Ask the Experts / Godolphin

What a weekend for Godolphin, sweeping the classics at Churchill and Newmarket;
2000 Guineas Stakes (Group 1) - RULING COURT (Appleby/Buick)
1000 Guineas Stakes (Fillies\' Group 1) - DESERT FLOWER (Appleby/Buick)
Kentucky Derby - Sovereignty (Mott/Alvarado)
Kentucky Oaks - Good Cheer (Cox/Saez)
and just for fun - Think Big in the Turf Sprint, Cinderella\'s Dream - Dahlia at Newmarket, and two others at Newmarket in listed stakes.
They may have won others that I missed......impressive.

On Fanduel this AM Caton Bredar was at the Brian Lynch barn and said he, the owners and the vets were meeting about Owen Almighty\'s status. I was thinking he was going to scratch but not seeing any news so far.

Frost Point was the Godolphin horse in the Top Flight at AQU yesterday. She broke through the gate prior to the start and had to be reloaded. So yes she probably wont have a new top. Of course I had a win bet on her.

I believe Rombauer looks like Commanding Curve, but a little slower than CC coming into this race?

Yes, congrats to Barry Irwin. NBC had him on camera with a quote of something like .... \" the reason I switched to G. Motion is he\'s the only trainer who has not lied to me.\" Anyone have any further comments on this? (not that a trainer would lie)
Will JV split anything with Robby A?

The Goldberg horses are firing...check out the 9th at BEL this past Wed. and the 1st on Thursday. I think they were both off layoffs. Knowing this I still did not have Strike A Deal.

they asked Donna \"how the horses looked going into the gate.\" Her two comments were that Dublin (I believe) was a little wet and that Super Saver had lost weight since the Derby.

Steve Christ had these posted on his \"Pick Six Derby Day Blog\" at DRF. Since this won\'t paste the way I want. The first number is ML, the second is odds 25 MTP of the Oaks.
