Go watch the Godolphin 7th race winner at Keeneland just now. Aussie Pride. Shot out of a cannon far turn. No worries from there.

I\'m sure you enjoyed seeing the not on the finish line shutter cam angle that made one believe Dunbar Road had clearly won. You do wear the badge of distinction of being an Emperor of the Turf for your longstanding devotion and excellent opinions.

you may laugh but there are a large contingent of knowledgable bloodstock enthusiasts who will tell you with conviction that the Japanese have the best horses in the world. Check their record in Dubai last few years, Thing is nurses are so good there they\'re are limited incentives for them to travel

Following Sea showed none of his usual speed—maybe they wanted to avoid the duel which I'm sure Ron Anderson proffered. He got off the rail after his trouble. I have huge respect for everything you say on the board Joe, but I didn't feel there was a real kick from him in the last 1/16th. Will have to look again at that. While you're here, Ivar, one who you mentioned on this board pre race, was truly unlucky to lose Shockingly crawling slow pace for a championship race and first two runners are inside. Ivar probably gets best number

Edgeway had one of the best clocker reports entering the race for a guy Sadler who does very well when they train big. Yes she moved through inside but visually hit the quicksand and never was quickly dispatched.IMHO it was an optical illusion that she ran well inside. The other two were done.

Kimini was in the turf sprint. Had Wesley put her in the dirt race I believe she wins as she was much faster then Cee Cee and herself a wide sweeper. He said she wasn't fit to run 7. She got beat a diminishing margin for a minor award looking every bit like a filly who needed more ground

Ask the Experts / Dead Rail--no doubt
November 06, 2021, 11:37:35 PM
Looking at the Saturday Del Mar charts this was one of the worst dead rail days we have seen for awhile. I didn\'t get there until the third so I missed the solid Baltas runner in the opener getting clear moving to rail then finishing last. Gamine, Jackie\'s Warrior were both beaten before they turned in. I was all set to make the (valid) point that in the old days of TG handicapping, a horse off a pair of negative numbers and a ship like Jackie Warrior would have been a must bet against.. Add in end of the long year. I scoped that part out pre-race but now I don\'t know if it was just the dead rail as opposed to the pair of crushingly fast tops. We, who are passionate about this game, deserve better than dead rails on Championship days.

Agree with the writer who said having a crop might have allowed Prat to go left-handed.
How bad was NBC coverage not realizing an inquiry until more than 7 minutes passed and essentially at the same moments they made the dq. Truly poor coverage. The angle from behind the horses coming down the stretch is probably the definitive look. Of course they never showed that,
On a more upbeat note, Thorograph getting an audio pop-- a billboard as it\'s called-- coming out of the commercial pre-race was major for your organization. Well done.
Finall ybased on the day your Monmouth handicapper had in the analysis why don\'t you blow off very mediocre to poor Woodbine picks and put Monmouth in Friday- Sunday. You blew off Woodbine today. Do Woodbine Wednesday and Thursday and Monmouth the rest of the week

Ask the Experts / Inside on Kentucky Grass courses
November 08, 2020, 11:06:44 PM
A very true comment in this thread about how the inside paths on anything but firm turf are not where you want to be. This is absolutely true. Moisture dries to the inside at both Keeneland and Churchill and it might as well be an X. In this weekends case, Keeneland to their credit labeled the course good. It had not dried out from the rains from the previous week.
