AP wins or not doesn\'t matter you wait and see he is running in the BC Classic (unless of injury) and Keeneland is going to be CRAZY!! Can you imagine the BC Classic with a Triple Crown winner running in it...

Ask the Experts / Re: Belmont Odds

I am tired of trying to beat the horse myself. I have decided to sit back and root for a triple crown winner for the sport. Although this is the leg to try and beat him as history has shown... good luck Rob, I gotta feeling after his last work your fighting an uphill battle.

And all that means absolutely nothing when it comes to this Belmont Stakes
AP has to beat the horses he is running agaisnt on June 6 no one else. Never been much of a fan of the horse, but seeing how he has come out of the first two triple crown races I will pass the race focus on some those other nice graded races on the card and root for AP to win the triple crown for the good of the sport. I am sure there will be way better options that day to make a score then trying to beat AP with horses that frankly looked overmatched IMO

Rob
He was 4/5 in the Preakness facing the 2nd and 3rd and 5th place finishers from KY trust me he will be 3/5 or less in the Belmont with the nuts coming out to bet with both hands $2 a time... Hoping to make a score selling on eBay if he wins.

AP will be 3/5 or less... There will be thousands betting $2 at a time hoping to have a collectable in hand if AP wins. Last year I have a crazy buddy that lives in NY he bought $2000 worth of win tickets on CC $2 at a time. I warned him but he wouldn\'t hear of it, lol... The rest is history.

Not me I will easily say.. \"You were totally dead on and I was totally wrong about the horse.\" I am a believer now (started leaning that way after the derby). He isn\'t going to be the best Triple Crown Winner and he won\'t be the fastest but he is a better then this crop and that is all that matters. It will be good for Horse Racing to finally have another Triple Crown winner, lets just hope he is sound after his Triple Crown run and at least runs a couple more times this year to keep the interest up for the love of the game.
I am just glad I have all his lifetime programs cause if he does win the Triple Crown they are going to be worth a ton! lol

Ask the Experts / Re: whose most likely to bomb???

Of the big three he is the only one not to hit a new top with only 2 weeks rest. That could work in his favor and at 8-1 very hard to pass up.

If you don\'t bet Dortmund at 8-1 your crazy... I really am beginning to think he is the only real threat to beat AP

Ask the Experts / Re: The Draw
April 29, 2015, 03:44:16 PM
I think Upstart, Carpe Deim and Materiality the worse of it as for the true contenders for the race. AP draw was better then anything down inside IMO. So kinda a neutral draw for him. I think Frosted drew well at the 15. Dortmund may have got a bad post almost right in the middle of the field as speed on his inside and outside I def could see him being bumped in the first turn from both sides. I really think this post draw makes the race even more interesting from a betting standpoint.
Pletcher horses are def up against it in this field now.

Ask the Experts / Re: AP 4/26 Workout
April 27, 2015, 12:34:12 AM
Have stated the reasons I would not include AP in my top two on this board last week and am not going to flip flop and change my opinion cause most the time in horse racing your first impressions seem to be more true then what you let yourself be talked into based on a number of things including hype...
With all that said I have to admit that was one hell of a work and the last time I have seen a pre-derby work like that at \"The Downs\" was Smarty Jones with Willie Martinez as the workout rider.
Sticking firm with Frosted, Upstart, Materiality as my top 3 win candidates and going to use Dortmund and Carpe Diem on a few ( about 1/4 of my tickets ) as well on the win end.
