Looking at the analysis this am, ballsy call to include a $180 winner. I\'ll assume it was due to the TR last 90 days stats. Nothing else there. $18K 50 cent pik 4 began here. Same stat gets you the $31 winner in leg 2, obvious fav in leg 3, and the final leg - possibly the worst race at a major track ever - again by a TR with nice last 90 day stats. In the 4 race sequence, only 8 had bold black tops last 90 days (and did not include Pletcher\'s fav). Excluding Pletcher is was 2x3xTAPx1.
Interesting angle to take note of.
I can not \"thank\" TG, because I did not bet the race, but the ROTW showed a
way to monetize a 4/5 favorite. Actually a 4/5 TAP favorite that won like a 2/5
proposition.
The 2 TAP winners I saw Saturday won in dominant manner, as if they were
\"re-breaking\" at the 1/8th pole, at about the same time the competition was
hitting some imaginary wall.
Amazing to me that some of the best trainers and horses in NA are stabled in
South Florida but we see so many races at GP for $6250 claimers.

Bee,
That has the footprint of PJ Campo.Usually won\'t use a 5 or 6 horse field of quality runners go in favor of a cheap claiming race with 10-12 slugs.
Elongated \"Championship Meet\" at GP nothing more than old Calder garbage mixed in with some high quality winter shippers. GP running way too many cheap, over crowded and impossible to handicap races. Over time, that will create negative churn.
Mike
Mike, don\'t beat around the bush, tell us how you really feel.
JB,
That was sanitized in case any youngsters are reading the board

Youngsters love hearing old(er) people rant. Let it rip Mike.
Racing must be in better shape than I thought, if the complaints are that the fields are too large.
