Title: Bad day at the Windows
Post by: Wrongly on October 31, 2015, 07:31:27 PM
Was not good today, not blaming the race track or the pace of the races.  I\'m blaming the Mongolians!  Still Keeneland was a blast.  Guy who won the contest bet $4k AP With Effinex.  Guy who finished 2nd went into the Classic with only $2,600 in bankroll.  Last but not least Runhappy is a freak!

Wrongly,

I definitely owe you for the GA tix my sister used.  She loved it and said it wasn\'t overly crowded more so than bluegrass day.

I got murdered at the windows but due to my own mistakes.  Didn\'t bet the turf classic after touting Found to everyone and watched in horror as my first selection on the weekend won.....would have had 5 of 6 in pick 6 with no nyquist but didnt play it.  Several good TG opinions in seminar.....

Knew i was in real big trouble when i bet the covello/pletcher firster to win and with the 2 favs at bel...only to scratch at the gate.

Bad day here as well.  I thought the seminar was good and the numbers spot on but still couldn\'t cash.  Without exception, every horse that won was either and \'a\' or \'b\' in my analysis but I still couldn\'t string anything together.  Not sure if it\'s just poor wager structuring on my part or if this years edition was particularly deep, as I had only a couple of singles (both of whom came in 2nd).
