Title: Thy cup runneth over
Post by: FrankD. on October 29, 2015, 05:48:39 PM
Oh my, between so many top horses drawing outside in routes, track conditions and yours truly only wagering 3 days of the current Keeneland meet the last 2 days have been daunting to say the least. I\'ve come up with a few plays I like for tomorrow and have done very lil work for Saturday at all. Hopefully we can collect a bit of overtime pay!

Race 1: Officer Griffin and Pablo Del Monte will be big favorites probably 8/5 and 2/1 with Candip a solid 3rd choice, toss all 3 with the exception of OG big number in a 4.5F sprint in West Virginia, the 1,3 & 6 all have as fast and faster back #\'s to make a nice exacta box.

Race2: Titanium is cycling back to her top and we\'ll make doubles 1,3,6 /5 along with a 5/1 exacta and a small reverse. Street Blush debuted nicely last year, Nicks can bring them back ready and there is a nice sprint # on the dams side, small doubles with1,3,6 in the first leg.

Race3: Praetero has back #\'s to destroy this field, Sharp choose an interesting spot for him first off the claim, 3 of his last 4 for Levine are good enough here.
Pick 3\'s 1,3,6 / 1,5 / 3,4,6,7,8 for the spread ticket 1,3,6 / 5 / 3,4,6,7,8 for a bit more then a punch 1,3,6 / 5 / 3

BC Pick 4:

JUV Turf:
If Cymric drew in the first half of the field he would get 80% of the ticket, flying at the end? I like 2 tiers here 12,13,14 the best but the draw the draw the draw! 1,4,8 for the insiders so will open up using 6 here.

Dirt Mile
Liam is a single here and exactas and tris over Bradester and Lea.

JUV Fillie Turf:
The draw again! Illuminate and Pricedtoperfection  I love them both, Frankie D. has to find the 2 path by the turn and Irad will have a lot of traffic to navigate. The Brownies loved this horse in his Spa debut and yours truly went to the well for a bet that day, she has been at Oklahoma right up to her maiden victory a mere 13 days ago and gets first Lasix for this trip.
I\'ll use 5 in here 3,4,8,10,11 pressing tickets with the 10,11. If the 11 is anything near her ML she will get a win bet.

Distaf:
Wedding Toast is going awfully well and Kiaran has been on fire everywhere for 3 months. Chatterbox and Frivolous got some numbers and the inside, exactas and tris 7,1,2 with punches with the 7 on top and 2nd.
I\'ll use all 3 in the pick 4 making it 6 x 1 x 5 x 3 = $90 per $1 unit
Punch some extras with 1 & 7 and a whole bunch more singling the 7.

Good luck to all on a very very tough but opportunistic betting card that took a bit of Jack Daniels green to get through,

Frank D.

Bill,

I hardly drink enough anymore to pay your mortgages but there was a time!!!
Bring a \"jug\" to the backyard next summer and convert me :) I enjoy a smooth single malt.

Good luck this weekend,

Frank:

Your usual outstanding breakdown, though I downgraded you from \"A\" to \"A-\" for
not commenting on the Marathon, race 10 on the Friday card.

I was a little discouraged with the scratch of Untapable, one of my two
\"bankers\" in the Distaff; that came after I saw that my ultimate wise guy
trouble with a capital \"T\" Juvie Filly turfer, Mirage, drew Jamie Spencer.

I think the two turf races in the sequence have so many variables, inevitable
traffic/trip problems, that I am currently contemplating using 9 or 10 runners
in each turf event. In the male event, the runners trained by Gary Contessa and
Janet Armstrong are the first 2 eliminatees, with some whittling left to do.

The female turf event has, in my opinion, fewer clear toss outs and could see
small win wagers on the fillies I eventually toss. Part of the reason I am
having trouble tossing from the filly division is that most runners in the
field are multiple winners, while eight runners in the colt/gelding division
are NW2LT.

LV Mile: I\'ll take the free square.

Frank, we part ways on the Distaff. Wedding Toast is arguably clearly fastest
in the field and she has beat a lot of the gals in this field. She has won at 9
furlongs/two turns twice, once at Saratoga, once at Aqueduct, but she has had
most of her success in one turn races. Her worst lifetime TG# and her only off
the board finish came at Keeneland this Spring.

That leaves me with one of my original \"bankers\", Got Lucky, currently in
career form after two easy wins at the Shore. The TG sire stats show that the
AP Indys get better with age. Hope that Irad can avoid ground loss from post
11. I\'ll also use \"Chatterbox\", making her first try against her elders. She
has a maiden win over the strip and has been working steadily over the track
for the last month or so.

(Approximately): 9x1x9x2 x$.50 = $81
Title: Really??

I get home last night from work (I get home past midnight), plant is hanging down from the house. Wife says fix it. Really, its BC day.  Nope, needs to be done.

So I just come in from fixing the plant. Race 3 is done, and the &%#$# 15/1 Early Entry wins, a horse I had marked down as a play. This horse just ran consecutive 2.25 three/four races back. Praetero the only horse that has run as fast and he hasn\'t done it in awhile. The 9 horse ran a 2.75 two back, and the 6 a nice pattern to run well.  Blast me for red boarding, I don\'t effing care right now.

The dogs have run for cover, texted my wife that the plant is fixed and the 15/1 shot was missed. The ONE BLEEPING DAY/WEEKEND I look forward to all year.....and she effing knows it........and that effing chore had to be done right effing now. Completely lost track of time.

I\'m fine now, but geezus. What a way to start my day.

At least its a BYOB place, geez, and her hand will be out to boot tomorrow because \"you always do good on this day\" Man!
