Asmussen is all about saving ground, it will be interesting to see if Johnny V gets the mount back.
My recollection is that Untapable has generally taken the long way around, even last year with Rosie aboard. Lots of 3w\'s on her sheet.
Here are Asmussen\'s comments from Blood-Horse:
Trainer Steve Asmussen said was not entirely pleased with Untapable\'s agressive run. \"Story of her year,\" he remarked. \"She was pretty aggressive behind horses on the first turn and she didn\'t really relax once she got to the outside of those. I wish she would have relaxed a little better. But she fought hard. She\'s a good mare that\'s not running her best races. She ran well, but that\'s not her best.

Ran well, saw what Asmussen meant early on when she was pulling while in and amongst horses vs use usual clear stalking trip.Winner had a perfect trip, Untapable did not.
Filly/Mare BC race seems open without Beholder.
She misses Rosie (not kidding!), the 3w aren\'t the issue but relaxing for her rider has been.
