3rd: #4 Sandy Strikes. I\'m betting a horse coming off the wrong side of 50 in its only race. I don\'t think I\'ve ever bet a 2nd time starter with a # over 50, but there\'s a 1st time for everything. He was in contention when he took a bad step and was wrapped up to race another day. At one point after the stumble he ran a 12.66 internal 1/8 after being hopelessly out of the race. Then he just cantered home for a final time of 1:20.13. 7th: #11 The Strip ran fast in his only turf race beating #8 by half a length. That race came back live and now The Strip goes back to turf after running faster than anyone else in this race in a 7f sprint 2 back. Main threats are #8 Belpiana and #1 Fine Instincts. Boxing all 3 in the exacta.
8th: #4 Concealedwithakiss ran some ran some fast #s (for this field) as a 2yo then has run dismally as a 3yo-until her last race when she finally got back to those 2yo numbers. I see a forward move here that takes this race. Playing over 1,2,7
9th: #3 The Great War. It looks like a 2 horse race between 3 and 5. Both are considerably faster than the rest of this field on their best. I\'m going with The Great War in here. 2 and 7 could sneak in underneath.
