Jacobson 0-14
Rosario 1-30
Castellano 3-34
....wow!
Biggest surprise there has to be Castellano. hard to explain. Haven\'t really seen a flurry of \"bad rides\".
Rosario a different story. To say he has been enigmatic since the beginning of the year would be kind.
Jacobson, ala Scott Lake of a decade or so ago, wins elsewhere, can\'t win at the Spa. Lots of potential reasons. Lost a fortune in the late 90\'s and early 2000\'s betting Scott Lake horses with HUGE sheet figs running at what seemed to be overlaid prices in claiming races at the Spa, only to run up the track.
Rob
Castellano been a little quiet, for him, at Belmont also, lost first call on many turfers for Chad Brown to Irad Ortiz.
Meet starts off strange, Pletcher a bit quiet, lucked into two stake wins on put ups.
Dirt Surface all over the place to boot.
.....but it is very early.
Castellano has taken mounts from some barns who rarely win .Pompay,Toscano,Contessa, and Trombetta.Rosario has been the most unpredictable, overrated rider for the last year. He appears to be scared to death with an inside post.He eithers guns out of there or grabs and slowly drops back to last so that he can get outside and attempt to circle the field.
Have fun figuring out to do with Salutos this weekend. Glad Al\'s doing the seminar.
On another note Mott has been hot with 1st timers. I believe he has hit the board with 7 of his 8 first timers..
