Well, they got two months out of him.  No problem with stale leadership, that way.  I recommend that they pick the next chair from a pool of candidates from Iowa or Nebraska or anyplace where they\'ve never had any prior contact with high ranking political officials in NY.  If they know something about horse racing, that would be a bonus, but I realize that\'s not a prerequisite.

Small, one of my regular golfing partners is a retired doctor from Nebraska, and he constantly extols the virtues of the state.  In fact he\'s heading out there on a golf trip, Thursday.  Says they put our courses to shame, except for Oak Hill.  That\'s fine, but I really don\'t want to hear any more about Husker football than I already have.  As for the reference, it only had to do with places where it was unlikely anyone would know NY politicians.  If you do happen to know any, which would be unfortunate, then I\'ll substitute North Dakota.
