In the Bluegrass, Lion Heart goes four wide into the first turn, seemingly losing momentum as Smith gets him to change leads going into the turn. This allowed Preachinatthe bar to insert himself into the two path and kept Lion Heart wide. On the final turn, Lion Heart jumps out to a three length lead midway on the turn and appears to be turning it into a rout, when he similarly loses momentum as they straighten away in the stretch. This loss of momentum also seems to occur during a lead change. Just wondering if anyone else observed this. I hope they\'re schooling him well this week at Keeneland; with a smoother trip it will take a huge effort to beat him.
