Gigantic ground loss in that race. Great ride on the winner.

Went 7 deep in that race and didn\'t consider the winner, using TG.   Saw him taking what I considered ridiculous action in doubles into the race and was shocked.  Completely unusable on TG.   Was with somebody using a \"competitive\" product and asked to see the sheet.  Looked like a different animal.

Everybody allowed to get one right (or wrong).    Ground loss or not, hard to believe his figured prior to today don\'t need to be looked at.

exactly who was it, because it was not TG.  Fortunately, I take these big days crazy serious and using TG highlighted the TR (90 days), had him running a \"5\" based on the pattern, but picked up Welch\'s workout report which gave hi a B+ - only a few on the card so I used him and was 6 deep there with 2,3,5,15,1,12.  It made the pik 5 payout worht the $81 invested.

I find the TR 90 day stat to be a great tool where the horse might not be a top 3 fig.  Examples of this at PIM on PReakness card include:
races 4,6,8,11,12.

Someone on the rags board mentioned they liked the winner as a possible longshot.
Not sure why we\'re throwing out props to that person on this board.

Shanahan:

You will find what I referenced on the rags board originated by a poster outlawed in the Tgraph territories. I occasionally need an intervention when the evangelicals start repeating themselves here blowing right thru their quotas.

I couldn\'t help myself from posting because I saw the second place horse in the 12th race about as likely (from final time & late pace  perspective) as the 2nd place horse in the Preakness. No, make that less likely.

As TGJB mentioned there was massive ground loss in the race as well as a masterful winning ride. A stampede with many contentious horses compromised. Even on the TIVO replay the poster acknowledges luck as a component of this game. But Hey, results are results.

On the subject of luck, after the Preakness I found this opportunity in the 1st @ PEN. My pace analysis pointed out that the 6/1 second choice horse was capable of out quicking the 1/9 favorite. Of the six entrants only the #4 would not fold like a blanket after the first 3/8\'s of the 5f sprint. So I bought my straight trifecta ticket 6/1 over 1/9 over 12/1 with confidence!

The gate opened my speed ball quickly opened up 4+ lengths on the 1/9 favorite 100 yds from the finish line with my third place choice lumbering up for third. I love it when my vision is realized. No Doubts, the second horse can\'t catch the first and the third can\'t catch the second when POW! down goes Frazier! RIP.

Tough to handicap and sad when one has to consider if the horse will live to the finish line.

By the way, I don\'t think that guy is banned here. He banned himself many years ago, which doesn\'t bother me, and makes one other poster here very happy.
