Ok so I\'ve looked at the last few Triple Crown races in the archives. It seems like most were won running between a -1 and 1 with the exeption of Smarty Jones and maybe one or two others. That being said a horse coming off a -1 or -2 seems unlikely to move forward or even pair up and a few horses are comming off those numbers going into the Derby. The one diiference I did notice in these Derby horse was that thier 2yo #\'s were much better than those past TC winners. So I\'m betting all the -2, -1 horses to go back 2+ points.....jk!
Ok...just sqw JB analysis saying this is the best 3yo crop ever...that explains a lot.
