Check out the replay of the Florida Oaks. Don\'t remember seeing a jock with his feet in the dashboard as hard as Ortiz had them on this 3 year old filly. He did everything but snap a rein trying to get her to rate at the back of the field. She did not want to do anything but run on and fought the jock almost all the way around the track. I don\'t know how she had anything left to make two moves and win that race.
That\'s a pretty talented filly for Romans.
agree....I thought the guy had lost the Irons he stood up so stiff. Not once but at least twice and when he turned for home rode her with confidence.
3yr old filly division kinda light this year, Oaks should be an open affair.
