I know it is a little early to bring up this event. However for starters current weather forecasts suggest low 60\'s,diminishing chance of rain shower as the afternoon progresses and breezes weakening from 7 mph out of the NNE @ midday.
It is still a $750K race? After a quick glance at the competition, now that Take Charge Brandi has taken her leave, it appears one of the competitors has won a first level allowance race. Several have actually broken their maidens and the remainder not.
I guess the recent weather has discouraged more than a couple but is American Pharoah the second coming of Secretariat? Looks like he is gonna go off @ 1/9 vs these. Although any of the top 5 3 y/o\'s would probably be 1/5. The 6f work in 1:10 whatever is also very intimidating.
Expecting an overpowing winner to go with the three from last weekend. Not much else in North America but a big weekend in Dubai & Australia. Testa Rossi only needs to beat 3 competitors did I see that right? Not ideal for a late closer, but unlikely to encounter traffic problems, whose up?
Midnight Hawk reappears without his sidekick Chitu in the Razorback, fresh off last Saturdays S.A. scratch. I guess he was in last week as a bunny or a goon to mug somebody. Say now... Dortmund would make a good goon with his size.

The Santa Margarita (GR 1, F&M, 4YO and Up) is featured at The Great Race Place on Saturday.
Among the entrants:
Larry Jones trains Cassatt, a daughter of Tapit who is 6/9 lifetime and coming
of 3 straight wins at Zia, FG and Sam Houston.
Dame Dorothy, for TAP and the Celebrity Chef, 5/6 lifetime for this daughter of
Bernardini.
Thegirlinthatsong, a G2 SW for Hollendorfer at SA in the La Canada.
Uzziel, G2 stakes placed who improved nicely first time for Keith D with Kent D
named to ride.
Warren\'s Venada, a Cal bred currently in career form coming off two consecutive
easy stake wins.
Bonus Pick: In race 9, Zip N Bayou, for Hollendorfer, is out of the very good
NYRA stakes turfer Auntie Mame, and should graduate at a mile at a short price
after two decent downhill tries.
I see that Testa Rossi is entered in Sunday\'s Santa Ana at Santa Anita. Is she running?
