$425 for reserved seats Fri & Sat and $50 to park on the hillside. Wow!
. . . and they\'ll get it, no prob, given the location and the not-unlimited capacity of the plant in question.
...and they did. Sold out today in less than an hour.
Only GA left On-Track.
wonder how many go to scalpers?
you could look it up I guess...but I advocated this years ago on this site. Why in the hell the BC shouldn\'t be anywhere but in the heartland of breeding is stunning to me - yes, I get the nice sites for weather.
But I sure as hell get the location. Why is this a surprise to anyone? It\'s a home game!

Why is the Super Bowl played in different cities, Why not play it in Canton every year? Cooperstown for the World Series??
Last I checked, Churchill Downs was in Kentucky. This isn\'t the first time we\'ve had a BC in Kentucky.
I\'ve read several reports of people unable to get thru to purchase tickets, many sections held back and unavailable to the public, etc...
I\'m all for having it at Keeneland, I\'m sure it will be fantastic, but we don\'t need Keeneland to be the home of the BC.
I think a good compromise would be to have the BC have a semi-permanent home at SA; every third year a track other than SA could host the event.
Santa Anita best BC venue by a pole. Attended BC\'s at Belmont Monmouth which were disastrous.GP was very warm but ok, Santa Anita perfect.
Santa Anita makes most sense weather wise and best venue wise. Kee can be nasty in November so it\'s risky.Scalpers ended up with a substantial number of tix, that should be looked into, many people with multi log-ins at opening were shut out.
Belmont\'s the fairest. SA is so much a home game, it\'s hysterical. Keeneland should have it once in a while, but its slim capacity makes it a giant flip-the-bird to the broad customer base, if it\'s there, too often. The online ticket outfit which handled the Kee sale appeared incompetent, criminal or both . . . and I wasn\'t in the market.
You can call any track a home game. Belmont, with the unusually large track and quirky surface isn\'t??
Many horses ship in and win at SA during the BC.
As was Charles Barkley, I was misquoted in my autobiography....I simply meant by \"home game\" that the BC is meant for KEE because of the great breeding farms in the area. The catering business will be at the highest peak ever. all of hte farms will be \"putting on the Ritz\" as they say...love SA and others, but this is where the money is, that\'s all.

Welcome to the first Fan-Free Private Breeders Cup.
It is now clear the 2015 Breeders Cup was designed as a \"movers and shakers only\" event, a private racing party for the best of those coming from Europe for the yearling sale, the top yearling buyers in America, and the clients whose money they spend.
Average horse people who own farms in Lexington, work hard, or small racing owners? LOL - really? You thought you could buy tickets and watch? Please - enjoy watching on TV at the Keene Barn.
And you little people, mere fans? Be happy we\'ll allow you to pay $50 to sit in your car in a field 1/4 mile from the track, and watch our day on TV.
If you \"must\" see a live horse, the cheapest seat is $425, your parking is 7 miles away at the Kentucky Horse Park, and you have to pay a fee for the shuttle to get you to Keeneland, too.
This is an outrageous insult from the biggest in the horse industry to the entire city of Lexington, KY, and to every \"average\" horseman or woman who thought the BC was a fan-based event.

I couldn\'t agree more! The ticketing process was an utter fiasco! 38 mins just to see that everything was sold out but GA. I hope the college crowd goes to the UK football and completely ignores the privilege of paying $50 to park on the hillside and never see a live race.
GA tickets for Saturday now sold out.
Sure, but to have the event in Cali two out of every three years on a consistent basis grants a significant edge to the local horseman, at the expense of everyone else . . . not to mention it forces the rest of the world to endure the typically-incompetent local stewards.
. . . and absolutely no one should be at all surprised.
I\'m pretty sure the majority of the reserve seats were gone in the pre-sale that started 2/27. I called maybe 10 times on the 27th before finally talking to an actual person and not an answering machine.
