Title: Far From Over
Post by: jerry on February 07, 2015, 07:52:04 AM
What\'s not to like about the pedigree of his first dam? Secretariat top and bottom? That\'s a lot of stamina.

Jerry,

Not exactly sure what they meant, but I found it odd after 2 distorted humors and 2 street cry\'s she hadn\'t produced much. also 1 more than ready. Who knows, maybe this will be her big horse?

True. Maybe a better nick. Have no idea know what he ran yesterday. Don\'t know if anyone does considering the start.

If JB agrees with Beyer, then Far From Over will be in the TG 2 1/2 range.May not get the best fig as El Kabir spotted 6 lbs and lost more ground.FFO promising but seems to be spotting much seasoning to quite a few that have already run faster.

I\'m biased on this horse because he\'s owned by a good friend of mine but this is one of the rare three year olds that actually wants to run  1 1/4. Very few of these will be better going that far than 1 1/16 but I believe he will.

Same connections here as Violence so hopefully my friends get to take this one all the way.

Also biased by my futures ticket on him bought at Wynn after his maiden win so between my affinity for the connections and my futures ticket, the board can completely disregard everything I say about this horse from here on!

Also made a play on Itsaknockout both in Vegas and in pool 2 this weekend. Fast on TGs and bred for it.

What a day of racing yesterday. Absolutely awesome.

Kentuckyderby.com. Go to pool 2. Then \"live odds\".

I was surprised by the Beyer, to be honest.  Trakus has EK running 50+ feet farther.  That plus the weight means he barely bounced if the fig is right.  Also means March ran a big new top, which can happen with these young uns, of course.

Hey, it\'s always nice to have the big races decided in the last few yards, with the good ones running big races - and we had a bunch of that yesterday.

Jerry,

I like the fact this guy IS green while running a 2.5 or something like that.
Obviously room for improvement vs trying to get back to a big top that may cause or already has caused issues. An entire month until the Gotham to see how FFO responds. Depending on how many points FFO will need in the upcoming races to gain entry for the Derby,i would try to orchestrate the same style
in winning the Withers( minus the break).

good luck,

He shied twice while moving up inside of March. I wondered if a hood would help?

Could always try the blinkers in the morning. Just never know . Incorrect lead late probably byproduct of being green.
