My friends horse drew the 13 hole in the Juvy Turf. Obviously not good and he said he was told no one has ever won at a Mile on Turf at SA from the 13 hole. My response was how many have their been? Does anyone have this data.
I had Pluck who won the Juvy Turf from the 13 hole at CD. Its been done but its very difficult. Let us know. Thanks!!

Juvy Turf Post 13 3 starts no in the money finishes so far.
At 1 1/16 on turf at Santa Anita there is plenty of run-up for all to get position...the jock needs to use his (pin)head.

I always ask myself when I see these types of stats;
How many were good enough to hit the board in the first place??
The race shape may be helpful when it comes to trying to sort out the particular race in question. Like this horse Obviously, I wonder if he could win the mile on the turf like Lure did and do it from post 11 (wire Job). The mile hasn\'t been BC mile hasn\'t been wired by any horse since Lure. Guess if Obviously can wire this field he should be a candidate for the hall.
