Title: Pacific Classic
Post by: jp702006 on August 24, 2014, 12:19:52 PM
Ok, now that everyone has analyzed yesterday\'s Travers card, lets discuss making some money TODAY! I am playing against Shared Belief to win. Any thoughts? Go........

Playing shared belief and imperative (7) in late DD with 5,7. Should be good odds on back end .
Also like a pricey late pik 4 with the large pools and guarantee:
2,6,7,8,10 / 2,3,5,7 / 7,11 / 5,7,10,12

I can honestly say that yesterday was an all time worst.  Gave back half the wins from SAR and DM last 3 weeks...

As of now, my late pick 4 ticket is: 2,4,6,7,10/2,3,5/2,5,7,10/4,6,7,9,12.

Unless shared belief loses a lot of ground I don\'t see him losing. Looks ready to explode into negative territory plus getting weight.

Mike Smith - 3 wins & 3 seconds thru six races. 7th is wide open I guess = he has no mount.

Ground Loss hmm?

I still think Toast of NY may be overlooked off his last.

Before looking at the sheets for the pc, I was going to use toast. However, he looks much slower than 4 or 5 others in here.

Makes me wonder why he is here? Deluded connections! Owner did say he was surprised to win @ Meydan.

I hope connections don\'t bet heavy. No Local appeal.  2nd would be fine with me.

My bomb is the 10. He definitely likes the distance.

At his price I have to have some in Imperative. That CT fig is just too big even with all the questions (surface, etc...).

Ok, I am a believer. I am also impressed with the run of Toast of New York. Glad I played a backup exacta.

Can anyone explain to me how Irish Surf and Majectic Harbor were claimed out of the race?
