Title: Durkin's Greatest Calls
Post by: P-Dub on August 15, 2014, 04:48:40 PM
Up on the hrtv site, they have 15 of his greatest calls.  At least to the person that made the list. Breeders\' Cup, Triple Crown, and ordinary races are represented.

For me, it\'s the Tiznow Classic vs Sakhee.  Weeks after 9/11, that call and the courageous stretch run by the reigning HOY gives me goosebumps every time.  A close second is the Ferdinand/Alysheba Classic, with Durkin giving that race a stretch call for the ages.

His quirky calls with Arghh and Doseremifasollatido are great, but his big race calls are second to none.

Good Luck finding it but Vic Stauffer\'s 2004 Fountain of Youth call ranks as one of my all time favorites.

\"Read the Footnotes gonna test him down to the wire...and the TWO of them THROW IT DOWN!\"
