Title: Who won the Preakness?
Post by: shanahan on July 23, 2014, 09:49:32 PM
"I am talking to other riders and looking at other options now, and we have to decide by tomorrow morning (when entries will be taken)," said Azpurua, who at age 85 became the oldest trainer to saddle a Preakness winner when he tightened the girth on Social Inclusion, a Kentucky-bred son of Pioneer of the Nile.

Damn, I thought Art Sherman saddled the winner.  Great journalism, courtesy of Paulick Report article.

Obviously it should read \"saddle a Preakness runner\" as Azpurua is the oldest trainer to ever run a horse in the Preakness, but yeah, pretty sloppy.

That\'s OK. Our local news anchor referred to the Kentucky Derby as \"the fastest two minutes in sports.\"
