How can one not get excited about our new visitor to the spa??? Pretty cool, no?
Still think Angel was the master of the flying dismount!
It will be a great moment when Euro legend Frankie D meets Spa legend Frank D.
Or at least hears him after a bad ride.
Gentlemen,
A more amicable and mellow Frank D. exists these days. I\'m one with the universe accepting the tough beats; I\'ve gotten used to them this year for sure!!!!!
Which only means that a suitcase race is right around the corner at the SPA!!!!!
Good luck,
Frank D.
Be the ball.

I\'ll remind you of that somewhere around the 16th hole.
Frankie gave up the flying dismount after being injured but did one after a win at Royal Ascot. Doubt if he does it up here if he wins one for Wesley since he\'ll be landing on pavers and not grass. He does it as a tribute to Cordero. Hope he gets interviewed up here as he is great to talk to.

Odds of MULTIPLE FD interviews, a half-hour north of Albany, this weekend: 1-1000.
Top,
If you would like to schedule an interview?
Please contact my agent Senor Richiebee.
Frank:
In addition to your usual excellent coverage of the TG seminars, I think NYRA
should let you do a weekly show featuring reports from Oklahoma (you know, stuff
like \"It looks like Alan Garcia had ANOTHER late night last night\"), restaurant
reviews, and interviews (I think an interview with \"Heineken Girl\" is long
overdue!).
Tentative name for the show: \"Live from Uncle Bens\".
How about an early over/under on the number of live racing days for Frank D this
meet?
I basically told Ms Richiebee that next Friday and Saturday will be the only days
I will be in attendance this year, but have already began scheming to add next
Thursday and trying to participate in the TG Open on August 1.
Playing in the TG Open seems a little ambitious since I have not touched a golf
club since October 2007, but will try to hit the driving range a couple of times
this weekend, maybe have a couple of 9 hole blowouts at a local muni before the
big event.
I was also considering the TG Open if it\'s 8/1, I\'m off that afternoon with no responsibilities. Is there a deadline for entries?
Last Sunday, I played for the fourth time this season, the most outings I\'ve had in a single season since my career ended abruptly in 1987.
I got down to a 6 that year. Late that season, I was playing a round and was one under after 13. I had always wanted to break par, just once, and that was going to be the day, I knew it.
On the 14th hole I hit into a deep trap, took me three shots to get out and three putts to get home. Being a young fool and a hothead, I was enraged at ruining the round, so I snapped my sand wedge in half and chucked the pieces into the woods. Angry at my putter as well, I also threw that into the woods, though I did go back and retrieve it. Walked off the course after that and didn\'t play again for 20 years.
Golf is an odd game for me; the better I got, the less I enjoyed it. Shot a 99 (for the entire 18) last Sunday and was thrilled to break triple figures. I suppose the fact that I grew up to live through far worse than a round-killing quadruple bogey has something to do with my new-found perspective.
I am playing the Spa with my Dad on Saturday. At 5:54 a.m. That\'s not a typo. Queen Chach the Second has encouraged me to play every weekend, provided I get home \"at a decent hour.\" In a four-child household, a decent hour generally means by 11:00, so it\'s up with the birds.
Agree with the positive early reviews of the Panza regime. The old regime would also write a nice condition book at times, only problem was it seemed like we\'d wind up with way too many of the better races in there scrapped in favor of the cheap substitute races. It got to the point where I\'d just assume most or all of the substitute races would be on the card...
Shoot me an email, we\'ll probably have two foursomes.
Richie, you played with us since 07, pretty sure you used your clubs.
Apparently I have a body double, a doppleganger with a sweet swing. But we need to put this rural recollection to rest: Ive never played TG Open golf.
Last round I played was at Brunetti\'s place in Old Bridge. October 07. Ran into \"Hollywood\" Herb McCauley on the course. The sticks have been to the Spa 15 or 20 times since then, but never out of the trunk of the car.
Last round I played in Saratoga was at McGregor Links, probably 05 or 06

Easy now, Frank . . . it\'s a long season . . . and so much easier to handle, during the last four weeks . . .
Richie,
28 for a over/ under I\'m away for a full week the week of the 28th and have to do a Michigan trip sometime after August 7 or 8.
Primed and ready for tomorrow, although not much interesting in the wagering; however we will be ready to stump TGAB on Saturday!!!!
See u next Friday,
Frank D.
I was watching Capital OTB\'s morning show & they said Frankie will not ride in the 1st 2 races because his flight isn\'t going to make it in time. They said his 1st mount will be the 7th race.
they better get him drunk every night or he\'s gonna take home a lot of purse money.
