Well done on the selection. He was ready. Saved my day after decent push in on War Dancer in Arlington Hdcp. No excuses.
Not surprising, no critique of the ROTW when it wins, only when it loses? Thought the runnerup was best going in, was correct but out tripped badly.
The Winner stopped and started 2-3 times with no running room until he got his own lane which wasn\'t the rail where he sat pocketed most of the race. Not sure about that \"the best horse ran 2nd\". Figs will say he was fastest but the Winner proved best on this day!!
Agree the runner-up took the long way around and was only beaten a nose but why did you think he was the best going in?
Bet,
Think he faced much faster than this group in the past, nary a graded stakes winner amongst them(Boisterous).Carried and won at the distance with globs of weight overseas. Lastly, had him fastest going on, weight spot and all, costly head bob.

Correct.
When they are right, just say \"Thanks!\" or \"Good job!\".
Thanks, ROTW Analyst. Good job.
And thanks to Alan for the upset call in the Delaware
Handicap, when he was on the Mike Joyce radio show Sat.
morning. Pretty much cold-decked the trifecta.
Rick.
Was pointing out that if the favorite had won, the usual suspects would be knocking the ROTW scribe.Wish they were wrong by a nose yesterday.

Mike,
I\'ll flip you for toughest beat on late pick 4 yesterday. I didn\'t use the Nevin horse in the 8Th, looked and looked but used 4 in that heat and finished 2,3,4,5.
2 x 4 x 1 x ALL
Throw in a single on War Dancer in the Arlington Handicap with the winners of races 5,6,8.9 would have taken down 3 pick 3\'s.
Spa time on Friday though; a good time to get the tough beats out of your system :)

Hi Frank,
Yeah, mine was late pick 4 at Belmont, stood alone with Grandeur in the 9th and had a press on the winner of the 10th.
Condition book at SPA looks good, hope for good weather and racing luck.
Good Luck,
Mike
Would you rather be \'stopped\' a bit at a meaningless part of the race or run an extra 46 feet?
This is an easy one.
Mike,
Condition book is a pleasant change for sure; some tweaking of the stakes schedule doesn\'t bother me at all. Panza doing an A+ job; with the overnight purses at this meet there is no reason for all not to come and run or for NYB\'s not to run in open company.
Please send me a message when you\'re coming up.

Frank they said the objective with War Dancer was to send him but when he bobbled badly at the break it all changed. From there in he was trapped inside of 52 half and wasn\'t good enough to close in a close G final quarter of 23. Worst case if he didn\'t get to the early lead was to have the spot the winner had. I\'m sure the 3 will run back in the Million. And probably need to run better than yesterday to make a dent. At least the prices will be right....
Last half mile of that race-- during which HK did have some trouble-- went in just over 46. Had to make it a \"s. pace\' and take off quite a bit to have it make any sense. Problem is it gives Grandeur a new top, hard to know how to evaluate that.
Thanks for the Info! You have been quiet lately!!
