Belmont, race 3
Cherubim will take money here, he has running lines against Indianapolis and Kobe\'s Back. Tom Bush with new runners is not exactly a winning angle, looking elsewhere. The other barn change, River Rocks has better trainer stats associated with him.
Cast a Doubt has excuses and his first start three back is good enough to compete here.
Reserved Quality is the stronger 1/2 of the Jacobsen entry from the looks of it with three straight threes. 25 starts under his belt, shipping from MTH, and a 0/4 BEL record do not make him a certainty here.
Win,place 6
Exacta Box 6/1,2,3
Monmouth, race 11
Looks like it comes down to the two ML favorites. Albano ran well two back and was stuck in post 10 in the La. Derby, the rest given from late March with two bullets between that time span looks like a go sign here.
Win 6
Exacta Box 1/6
Cast A Doubt has excuses no results or rest. His late move between horses against $20K starter runners two days ago, on Friday, is reason enough to bring him back vs wannabe NW1 stock?
Cherubim will take money, why would the crazy crowd @ BEL invest in a horse that is in from SA and routinely runs 1/2 mile in 44 or faster? Because he is owned by Gerald Frankel? Because he has not competed since Mar 2014. Because Tom Bush performs poorly with new horses?
River Rocks is, of course, owned by a board favorite. Jacobson is well known. It is apparent to me, you and I are using different considerations. I\'d be stabbing with a 25+% trainer on a horse that is who knows how good @ about the same price.
Gotta love moxie! Great prediction! Good luck! Hope you get more than 6/1.
Mth the 11th. Those crazy pace guys claim that it is very unlikely two need to lead types will run eyeball to eyeball for 6f let alone 1+1/16 miles. Of course it happens. Maybe Graham Motion\'s horse will be one of the top two favorites.
On the subject of pace/speed I loved that Optimistic outran the rabbit in the Shoemaker Mile yesterday.
Cool Race - I\'ll pass. Good Luck!
Hooray Covelj70. Visually impressive. Great day to to all the fathers out there!
Thanks so much
That was a real thrill
We almost lost this horse to an infection this winter. Fought like a champ and pulled through after several days with a 104 fever which is pretty much unheard of
Then he comes back to run like this
There were multiple times when I told the vet this winter to please make sure the horse was never in too much pain and to not let him suffer
Amazing recovery and amazing race.
Thanks so much again.
