Title: Horses and The World Cup
Post by: FrankD. on June 14, 2014, 03:11:12 PM
I\'m playing in 2 contests today one live and one on line (both not so well) and it\'s just not enough action until the Stakes pick 4 at Churchill tonight.

So in between it\'s Italia +180 over England.

Matt Winn:
Tapitor & Ulanbator and they make a nice exacta box as well

Fleur de Lis:
It\'s all Fiftyshadesofhay

Stephen Foster:
Will Take Charge says D. Wayne but I\'m pressing Mylute & Golden Ticket

Regret:
Tepin, A Little Bit Sassy, Aurelia\'s Belle & Share The Sugar

Good luck,

Frank D.

Nice pik on the cold punch exacta. In the Foster

Other than WTC which is a tricky read and probably poor value, I am giving big shot to Departing and Long River in the Foster.

Think a negative number needed for the Win

REV- not fast enough, gets shuffled back..would need to trip out.

JP-  7 yo Chad Brown reject. Needs Ponce DeLeon and the Fountain of Youth.

Moonshine--Borel probably drops in the rail. 6yo in rare from but reaching for the stars.  Be carefull as a rail huggin MM just won the 7th at 10-1. For the superstitious.

WTC- tricky read. No value. Was the 6 the X or is this the end of the line. Top weighted so I reach for others. Small saver only.

My Lute- only run one # that competes. Maybe his alarm is set for a Wake up Call.
Am neutral.

Departing--Capable of a stalking trip. Capable of running a neg. #. Fresh, fit and dangerous here. One of my keys.

Golden Ticket-- Consistent 5 yo with no neg # on sheet. To me, a bit bouncy of a pattern. Lots of 1/4 to 1/2 followed by 2\'s etc. May need a career effort. Neutral. .

Long River- Has a neg 2 to run back too. Ships from Saratoga. Pulls 8lbs from WTC and may get a stalking trip. At 15-1 ML, must use and my second key.

Prayer for Relief--Nothing wrong with 6 yo. Good form and good connections. Not impossible but figures to lose ground with puts him underneath for me.

I\'m sticking with my best money maker of yesterday!!!
France is more than a 4/1 favorite against Honduras; way to big a price so we will go over 2.5 goals for a few shekels.

Slow days for the horses but we\'re 2-0 in the World Cup.

The USA drew the group of death; expectations were to advance to the 2nd round, not likely. Ghana has their number and the best we can hope for is a draw.
I love betting this every 4 years; USA/Ghana ending in a draw PAYS + 235.
