On CNBC, Sherman just said that nasal strips do not do anything for a horse while racing since their nostrils are fully open naturally when racing. They only help a horse catch their breath sooner after the race is over.
So I wonder if Sherman\'s entire stable uses the strips?
One winner w/strip yesterday 7 losers.Until they post the info pre race, its tough to know as the strips are white, black or brown.
At least those 8 horses were able to catch their breath easier yesterday.
They weren\'t going to run because he wouldn\'t be able to catch his breath after the race?
That was good. I don\'t do LOL, but if I did...

It was Steve Coburn who made the comment about the nasal strips
According to quotes in USA Today, Violette, Stewart, Pletcher and Gowan say their horses will not be running with nasal strips. Of course, Sherman will with the other trainers not being interviewed.
Trying to imagine some creative and colorful TG symbols for \"strip on\" or \"strip off\" but it\'s a family board! Good luck to all.
HP
The \"Holy sh!t he uses nasal strips!!!!\" crowd is awfully quiet right about now.
Hopefully its because they realize that the hysteria over this miracle piece of tape was a bit over the top.
