The seat on the second floor grandstand (between the 1/8th pole and the 1/16th
pole) which I purchased on Stub Hub for Belmont Day last year for $65 is now
available on Stub Hub for $415.
I think I paid $2 general admission for Affirmed\'s Belmont and ended up standing
on a bench on the apron.
Many Belmont seats were available on Ticketmaster Saturday morning; they shut down sales at 4:30 that afternoon and were supposed to re open them at 10:00 AM this morning. As of 5 minutes ago they have not been reopened for sale; I\'m sure they will all be double Saturdays before 4:30 prices.
For Miff:
Great article in today\'s NY Post about your former favorite NY politician Joe Bruno. He was found not guilty last week after the Feds spent 30 million going after him and now he wants NYS to reimburse his 4 million in legal bills. What a country.
Frank D.
Frank D,
Was introduced to Teflon Joe Bruno years ago at SPA. Was described to me at the time as the 2nd most powerful politician in NY State. Feds have a 95% conviction rate, surprised he walked.
Need EARLY weather report for Belmont, Cali clocker pal sez CC won\'t finish the race on a wet track.
Best,
Mike
If you\'re looking for a forecast 3 weeks out? Call Columbus and I don\'t mean Ohio!

UPDATE: Tickets in that general vicinity now listed on Stub Hub between $1200
and $1600.

They have a concert with legitimate stars and probably the best betting card until the Breeders cup and a chance at the triple crown. This is now an event. Prices are going to be crazy!!
