Tonight I again have the desire to record some of my thoughts. If I don\'t I am unlikely to remember them tomorrow.
I am going to attempt to use a new style which I will label Friday Principled Deductions. i.e., Joe Friday style facts (collected on Friday) with free associated principles and resulting deductions. Hey - not everyone is a serious handicapper.
1. Fact - The TG analysis had zero winners @ PIM Fri. Principle - In the real world, you have results or reasons. Deduction - good chance for a productive Sat analysis.
2. Fact - No GP campaigners won a race Friday. Principle - What\'s obvious is what\'s true. Deduction - Play against GP dirt performers on Sat.
3. Fact - Vito\'s tout in race # 8 @ Pim Sat recently earned a Rags top tracking splits of 24+2 and 49+2 in a 5F turf sprint. Principle - Raw times are not very meaningful. Deduction - The horse needs another layoff after the energy exerted running through that bog.
4. Fact - Bob Baffert is a hall of fame trainer due to his accomplishments. Principle - Placing horses is key to Bob\'s success, Deduction - Bob loves crab cakes and 2nd @ the Preakness pays more than winning his other race options.
5. Fact - I got my ass kicked betting Aus last night. Principle - Concentration is the key to results. Deduction - I should not have watched the Royce Gracie interview on The Voice yet it was nice to learn Hoyce, like TGJB, has a sense of humor.
analysis today 1st race missed a MTO with top # 8, 1st time stretcher by Tapit. not off to a good start
Not sure who counts as a GP campaigner, but the Black-eyed Susan winner had a race there this spring.
To be a bit pedantic, the inference tools involved are either inductive or abductive - not deductive (pace Hume).
