anyone have thoughts on pim special?
Inside horse looks \"Valid\" with figures, ground save, and moisture in track. Advance wagering indicates twice morning line. I usually keep selections to myself so hope this one was worth opening my (keyboarded) mouth.
Distance might get Valid. Clearly seems like a Miler to me.
Cat Burglar looks good here I\'ll be using.
A sleeper in here could be Carve. Got back to that 3yo top and went forward a point with Brad Cox. Looks ready to pop a big one.
Well.. we know what barn is live this weekend
You won the battle, but lost the war! Great example of .... you know .. ah something.
funny when no threat of out of competition testing is there, pletcher wins. Neither of his wins were reaches, but 2 weeks ago he had most all his competitive runners run up the track. Its very frustrating there is no consistency when it comes to testing on major days.
I liked Master Lightning in the Sir Barton Sat. before today\'s results. I like him even more now.
Didn\'t he win the Belmont last year which had out of competition testing?

Wow, even if Ground Control chooses to sprint, which seems a better spot to me, Master Lightning looks to be in deep. There are 4-5 lightly raced competitors one or more of which is likely to move forward.
Your confidence in Pletcher is interesting and he is the only \"Pletcher horse in the race. Given the choices TAP has and he uses this horse is worrisome. You may be on to something good. But I won\'t be adding my weight to the load he carries.
Good Luck
My liking ML is not due to Pletch but due to that quarter-point move forward in his last, which sometimes leads directly to large forward moves. Most notably a Shug filly a few years ago who had a similar move forward in the Spinster and then blew the doors off Ashado and others by 10 lengths at 30-1 in the BC Distaff. I\'m still kicking myself for missing that one. And now if Pletch horses are running great, for whatever reason, that gives me more confidence. But, of course this being horse racing, there are no guarantees or sure things.
