the horse I was talking about in the attached post from back in Feb was Cali Chrome
It takes a tremendous moron to make these comments in February and play the race the way I did in May (one thing to play against but \"all in\" against is another level)
It may be awhile before we see a move this dumb again (likely not until I do something similar next year on the First Sat in May)

There is a horse that is much the fastest of anything in the pool with a tremendous pattern that is currently a big price and I am starting to think that JB wants to keep this one to himself and not share the Special with the masses!!!!
obviously just kidding about this (the part about JB wanting to keep to himself). There is actually one that is a standout at a price strictly on the figures.

I don\'t get the kicking yourself thing. He was the favorite, and you liked other horses. Are you saying you want to say you had the Derby winner, no matter what the price? Would you be kicking yourself if he was 8/5? 3/5?
I like my plays. I came close to a huge score. I lost. Good bets lose all the time.
Don\'t beat yourself JC, this game is not about being right, its about being right when everyone else is wrong.
Its a game of differing opinions, only beat yourself up(if beating yourself up is something you enjoy doing!) when you have a differing opinion from the masses and fail to act.
After reading Covelj70\'s post, I bought the TG data and also came up with Vicar\'s In Trouble.
After I read it I couldn\'t figure out who the hell he was talking about.
This is the post that prompted my future wager on CC (though I also messed up the betting a bit on derby day).
