Thanks to whoever posted that Saa Mi would win the finale at CD today. Thanks for the bailout.

ditto - big help. many thanks. saved me for the day...grateful that JC wasn\'t on him...
This board has been my salvation since I began posting about a year plus ago. Before that I was a lurker since the Smarty Jones Derby. and my last few years have been horrible on a personal life note....but horse racing keeps me going including and especially this board including the people I constructively criticize below. SO the most important note of this post is THANK YOU to everyone that posts.
No problem on the Saa Mii pick. It was the best bet, glad you cashed.
I still disagree with the Cali Beyer\'s on Cali Chrome but obviously he could have ran faster in his races at SA. But 2:03 plus is not impressive on that racetrack. I will grant you it was nearly two hours since the previous race on dirt but I think he wins the preakness and loses the Belmont.
I love how jimbo66 knows more than anyone....
miff is just the genius of the board except when the TGJB tells him otherwise...
I wish more people would post their picks for the amount of \"views\" on the board. Did my posts on DWF in the Bluegrass or Saa Mii today affect the odds? Maybe a little but not much! Ridiculous how closed mouth the board is about their picks....understood when there are seminars or data TG wouldn\'t want to disclose....But come on guys...get serious, tell us your thoughts.
I respect mjellish for always putting himself out there on the big races and he has taught me so much since he started posting....
Someone complimented TG board for their posts being numerous. Let\'s keep it up.
Anyone think today was a vote of confidence that Clean Racing can happen??....I believe so. Dallas Stewart two Derby 2nds in a row, and a Oaks 3rd and the longest shot in Oaks history....hmmm. Pletcher now 1/40 on an unrelated note. Let\'s push for Clean racing Everywhere even in Florida where TAP can win by open lengths with every 3yo maiden race it seems.
And Rick B....whose pace figs are you using...bris I\'d guess....b/c River Bear wasn\'t late pace advantage on Moss Pace Figs. I have bet him more than anyone you would ever guess and he was the host of my biggest vertical score ever ...no way he could be played today and he should have been 100-1 despite being the King of Fairmount. Last at odds under 30-1 I believe....
Let\'s hope Untapable runs in the Preakness along with Social Inclusion and Pablo while Dallas and Jimmy lie in wait for the Belmont...I\'m cheering for a triple crown but I\'ll bet against it if the chance materializes b/c I believe Dallas and Jimmy may have the 1.5 mile goods.
Lastly, richiebee is my guy just b/c I feel bad that I offended him when he was at Fairmount a few years ago when Ward won at Keeneland with a crazy longshot I still question....but b/c I think I we connected as a realization we knew each other on this board far later makes us respect each other.
If my post causes more posts....I\'ll be happy...Preakness awaits in two weeks. Early thoughts?

First, if you realized like I did that the CD strip
was a paved concrete superhighway angled straight
downhill on Derby Day, *that* is why you threw out
River Bear. Closers had NO shot at all yesterday.
Second, none of the above may have mattered:
Thornton took River Bear over to the rail at the
half, then eased him. I didn\'t see a bad step or
anything, but Timmy must have realized something
was wrong.
I know a guy that works for Rusty Hellman, and I
am waiting for word as to what happened. We may
have just seen Bear\'s last race.
