As I\'ve mentioned a couple of times, there are some major differences between the figure makers re the Derby this year.
Beyer has Cal Chrome much the fastest, from what I hear.
Those who bought the Derby probable know we have him fast, but not that fast.
According to the Jake board, ex-Ragozin has Chitu (among others) faster than him. That might help Jimbo\'s price a little, though not as much as it used to.
Correct on Beyer except one fig for WS in Wood. Surprising you have not seen the Beyers.
All the other runners faster than CC on TG figs, are not elsewhere(no rags yet)CC should be slow on RAGs because he didnt lose much ground last two races...BRILLIANT,as just the opposite applies.
CC is slow on Rags because of their SoCal sprint/route issues. Wouldn\'t be surprised if it turns out they have his December 7f race as his top. He\'s fast on Beyer (and possibly others) for reasons I\'ve gone into here before (they use claiming pars).
Rags signature of slow wires is fairly consistent regardless of the circuit.
Claiming pars have nothing to do with a horse that runs holes in the wind and trounces his competition(see Hopp big TG fig winner of LAD humbled by CC)
If CC shows either of his last two(an if for sure)the fat lady will be singing.
You don\'t have to be Aristotle to know that claiming pars have something to do with figures made by those who use claiming pars to make figures. A is A.
