You gotta read the story on page 10 of the DRF, the part where they explain this horse\'s name.
It\'s behind their paywall (the nerve!!!).
Guessing an unhappy divorce?
I thought they were so expensive because they were worth it.
Good guess.
Jockey club computer never married it seems
It\'s better than a horse that ran at Penn National in the year 2002 called MyExWifesAshes..
Speaking of fun names, the 8YO \"Slick Pardoned Me\" won the 4th at Oaklawn
Saturday.
Assuming that \"Slick\" refers to the husband of a leading Dem Party presidential
candidiate.
Read a bumper sticker and have to pass it along.
2016: Monica Lewinsky\'s ex-boyfriend\'s wife for President.
I didn\'t see the DRF story.
But was it along these lines?

Interesting that Jimmy Jerkens is the guy he names as a solid horsemen. Of course, Jimmy just hasn\'t gotten the \"fast\" horses anymore....or does he just not push the rules like other guys. This has been obvious for years--A Jimmy or Allen Jerkens didn\'t just suddenly forget how to train winners but yet they stopped winning races.
On another note, and I hope this will generate discussion. What would be wrong with limiting the number of horses a trainer can enter during a meet? Like a starting roster of 30 horses? And you can substitute for one if you claim another horse but the one you substitute for must be removed from the list of horses available the rest of the meet.
The Asmussen story made me think that farflung enormous operations need to be downsized for the benefit of the horses. Asmussen and Pletcher and these supersized operations couldn\'t tell you the difference between all of their horses. So why don\'t we spread the wealth a little bit. Maybe create a \"Major League\" set of tracks and a \"Minor League\" and to move from one to the other you truly have to meet standards, vet inspections, etc etc. I\'m sure that more trainers would emerge with owners having to seek out new trainers if the large ones were downsized. These are dreamland ideas without a national horse racing league which will never happen but I\'m curious others thoughts.
Seriously? Spread the wealth? Ouch.
