Title: Shared Belief
Post by: miff on December 15, 2013, 07:52:34 AM
Preliminary Beyer for Shared Belief 106( carried121) which is negative territory on TG(likeTG -1) Considering that the older horse BSR(119)(GR3) received only a 92 Beyer, the 2 yr old race huge on Beyer with several posting new tops.

One noted fig maker already grasping at straws suggesting synth surface sped up in the one hour between the two route races....only in la la land!

Synth or not, impressive, but maybe too much too soon, further development very tough to swallow, big league trainer Hollendorfer.

SB has lots of dirt in pedigree but no way to know if he can stand up on it, nice edition to TC trail.

More than a thousand miles to Louisville.

However, I\'d like to see Hollendorfer get there with a legit contender. Obviously his NorCal success was more than Russell Baze and a big fish small pond phenomena.

Tamarando also tries hard, but he could be headed for the turf.

Jim Rome has been a quick study owner! It will be interesting to see how he & trainer Hollendorfer campaign Shared Belief?. Or will they sell to a Sheik?

Haven\'t looked at the day yet and have no clue about it yet, but the older stake winner has never broken 3 1/2 in his life, and synthetics change speed much more than dirt tracks.

JB,

Wait till you look. Blueskysrainbows has several figs equal to TG 1-2 elsewhere. If track changed speeds,it did twice, before first route, got slower then faster after, pretty remote.

As I have discussed here before, anyone using still pars will have the California horses faster than we do. And some of the smaller circuits slower.

Would a Sheik buy a gelding?
