I know you don\'t like to tout your own horses much, but do you
expect schoolonahill to run big with the class relief? Is he
coming into the race well?

Thanks for the message.

He\'s doing really well and he\'s got a good shot but I won\'t be betting him. I only bet on my own horses when i feel really really good about them and I am more optimistic than I am certain here.

He\'s coming into this race better than his last 2 because he\'s had the proper spacing. We were rushing him before to try and make the breeders cup and so after that plan didn\'t work out, we regrouped and gave him the time and he has really responded.

He was loaded in his last race down on the rail and he got stopped cold but that\'s going to happen sometimes when we ask the riders to save ground above all else. What made it painful though is that he had outworked the winner of that race very easily coming into that spot so I know there\'s more there.

My hesitation for Thursday is the distance and Calhoun\'s horse.

I think our guy might be better going longer so a mile may not be enough for him.

That pulpit horse of Calhoun\'s could be any kind with that first race and that pedigree so this isn\'t one I am taking a big stand on.
